What Is Freedom
“When a man is denied the right to live the life he believes in, he has no choice but to become an outlaw.” ~ Nelson Mandela
What is freedom? Just think. Maybe freedom is when you can control your own destiny?! What about the ability to do what you want with your life and your body. Freedom is to say anything you want. Freedom is to travel anywhere you want. All above sound great but freedom also is accountability. Nobody controls you so you must control yourself. Freedom means understanding that any action can have consequences.
I asked my twitter followers about what is freedom and their answers were quite interesting.
I think this one sums it up the best.

“We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it.” ~ William Faulkner
“Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does. It is up to you to give [life] a meaning.” ~ Jean-Paul Sartre
